Can I get backlinks to any page on my site?
This is a good question. The answer is yes, and no. While we may be able to get some links back to specific product and service pages (those with commerical or transactional intent), the truth is that when engaging in a white hat link building campaign, your best linking page targets tend to be informational pages on your site (think blogs, guides and resource pages).
This is because most of the high ranking sites that we guest post on have editorial guidelines for links in the content we write. Our link building team then reaches out to .edu and .gov sites (among others) that have what are called “Resource Pages” on their site. These resource pages are typically pages that curate and recommend specific resources on multiple topics. We then use internal linking to help pass the authority of those backlinks to your best site pages.
