Organic SEO is often considered more cost-effective over time than paid advertising because it continues to drive traffic without ongoing ad spend. Here at BKA Content, we believe in utilizing both strategic SEO campaigns to help reduce the cost of paid ads over time while also using paid ads for the highly competitive terms to get the most bang for your buck when engaging in online marketing. 

While our custom packages are typically referred to as “organic SEO packages”, we do still offer paid ads as a service. The reason why is because we feel that a digital marketing agency that does paid ads paired with a solid SEO strategy has the ability to make sure you aren’t double dipping when spending on online marketing. Using a paid ads service that doesn’t also do effective SEO (or vice versa) means you’ll likely be targeting the same terms for both campaigns instead of efficiently using both to your advantage.

– SEO Content Refresh (for pages or blogs on the site that are ranking for keywords but not getting traffic – we repurpose this content with the correct keywords, content and SEO optimization to help them start performing)

– Local SEO Services (may include citation listings and removal of duplicates, new web page builds, GBP updating etc)

– SEO Consultation Services (this can be for SEO-specific campaigns you want to remain in-house or for additional strategy help)

– Web Hosting / Web Design Services

– Paid Ads Management (typically for Facebook or Google ad campaigns with a budget of around $2500 to spend a month on ads)

– SEO Monthly Reporting

Our custom SEO packages do take technical SEO into account. We offer SEO solutions for HTML formatting, meta and title descriptions, page speed, caching plugins, web design, web hosting and more. The cost of organic SEO can vary depending on the complexity of your website, the competitiveness of your industry, and your specific goals. Our custom Organic SEO Packages start at $999/month. Most of our small business clients average a spend of around $1500-$3000 a month. These custom packages include everything from in-depth keyword research and customized SEO strategy to monthly content creation and optimization, high-quality link building, content refreshing, new web page creation, paid ads, reporting, consulting and more. Running SEO campaigns for your website is an investment that pays off over time. If you decide to go with one of our organic SEO packages, we do require a six-month commitment (paid monthly – not all at once). This is because organic SEO services typically take about 6 months to see results.

While we tend to see the very best SEO results for clients that run SEO campaigns for 12-18 months or longer, our organic SEO services only come with a 6-month commitment (paid monthly). Most organic SEO campaigns can take anywhere from 30-90 days to start showing ranking, and then can see fluctuation in keywords ranking, traffic, etc., for 30-90 days after that. Six months allows our SEO strategists enough time to accurately measure the results of the SEO campaigns we run and to make good decisions on what’s moving the needle and bringing in relevant traffic. Every 6 months we will do additional site audits and make recommendations on changes to make to the package before the next 6-month commitment begins.

While some SEO agencies may offer monthly services, this should be a red flag that they are likely using shady tactics that they have no intention of holding themselves accountable to over time. Most dgital marketing agencies offering true value in their organic marketing will require a minimum commitment in order to reap and report on the benefits of consistent SEO over time.

Depending on the organic SEO campaign you are running, it can take several months to see results. For instance, it’s pretty typical for a new piece of content on your website to take anywhere from 30-90 days to start seeing ranking on Google, and 30-90 days more to see where it will settle as far as number of keywords it ranks for, how high those keywords are ranked and also the amount of organic traffic. 

SEO does tend to have a compounding effect, though. Most of our clients start to see the best results after about 12-24 months of consistently running an organic SEO content campaign and we’ve seen sites that have 10X their traffic and keywords over that span. It’s important to look at SEO as more of a long-term investment that will pay off over time rather than a short-term vehicle that you quickly turn on and off (that’s why we have paid ads!). In our experience, the best online marketing campaigns include a balanced approach of organic SEO campaigns as well as paid ad campaigns to establish themselves in both the short and long-term.

Since every website is built differently, has unique products and services and shopping platforms, and may include it’s own conversion goals, our base packages don’t come with conversion tracking built in. Our typical monthly reporting will track overall site trends, including keywords and traffic, as well as individual reporting on each specific campaign we’re running to make sure we’re seeing traction from our efforts.  If you have conversion goals already set up in Google Analytics, we can merge those metrics into the campaign reporting. We use industry reporting tools like Google Analaytics, SEMrush and AHREFs to track keyword rankings and traffic coming into the website from each of the SEO campaigns we run for our clients. Each month, you’ll get a custom report from your SEO strategist detailing some of the highlights of new keywords gained, trends in traffic/ranking, and also graphs showing the impact of each SEO campaign we are running (i.e. strategic SEO blogging, high quality link building, etc).  You’ll also have a content calender to be able to see and track SEO deliverables and know exactly what’s being done for your site and what’s coming down the pipeline.
